Hey Guys! I’m Daphne and welcome to my page!

 

I am a singer/songwriter, producer and composer currently completing a Bachelor of Music (Composition for Creative Industries) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. My musical journey began at the age of 8, when hit with the sudden curiosity and desire for understanding musical notation. Such wonder led me to join my primary school band where I learned how to play the Tenor Saxophone. 

 

In terms of composing, I have written many works, ranging from video game music, chamber pieces and electroacoustic works. From the age of 16 I have also been an independent bedroom pop artist, writing, recording and producing all of my own music. My latest release is a song called “maybe". I also create music and sound effects for video games through actively participating in game jams hosted by itch.io!

 

I release my instrumental works and compositions under the name "DAPHODIL".
